Summer has been exciting for me so far. Even though we have been having lots of rain I am still enjoying my summer. Do you remember back at the first of the year that I said my word for the year is “renewal”?
When I picked that word, I was thinking about getting healthier and having more energy after my hip surgery last winter. I have done that, but the best news is that my passion for Dr. Glasser’s ideas have grown even bigger. Why is that you say?
Because I know that what he taught me and so many others is exactly what the world needs now as we process what is happening with the pandemic. There have been so many upsets to humanity. Our training can help people regain some sense of personal control and in fact I have experienced an increase in people searching for what we have to offer.
When we see children acting out with crazy behaviour it means that their needs are not being met. As much as we adults have struggled missing our peers etc. it had been way more difficult for our children. They have struggled to meet the same basic needs that we all have and in fact do not have the skills to deal with that loss of relationships.
Adults too are going to be challenged as we go forward. We will have many decisions to make and a lot of reflection over the difficulties we may have . I am grateful everyday for my knowledge of Choice Theory, It has made my personal navigation of these times much easier.
For this reason, I have opened up a new Basic Training to start September 2021. It will be held Twice a week 9:00 am – 1pm, September 20, 23, 27, 30, October 4, 13 and will be held Virtually.
The fee is: $700.00 HST incl
