I love what I do! So far this year I am doing more training than I have in the past couple of years and it is so need-satisfying. It is hard to believe that I am just as passionate today as I was when I first started teaching these ideas back in 1988.
Why am I so passionate? When I see people start to learn the difference between external and internal control, they realize that nobody can make us do anything. They may offer us information and attempt to influence us, but they can’t make us do something. This is very freeing.
When I see someone learn about the five basic needs they are born with and they start to realize or see the strength of the needs of the people they work with, or with their family it is eye opening and explains a lot to them. They begin to understand what is motivating the person in front of them.
When we learn about the importance of our Quality World and the realization that even a picture we perceive as destructive can be very need satisfying. Oh, and what about the importance of sharing those pictures with others?
This is just the beginning of why I love what I do. I love it because learning these ideas empowers others to Take Control of their Own Lives and allow others to do the same. It just fills my heart to see others grow and feel like they have just been given one of the greatest gifts ever.
